Direction & Screenplay
A skilled and celebrated filmmaker, Alexandre Rockwell is perhaps best known for his works In the Soup and 13 Moons. His ability to bring to the screen colorful characters that are both intricate and flawed, as well as his use of classical techniques and sheer creativity to tell stories has made him one of the most wellrespected figures in independent film.
In 2016, Rockwell made the critically acclaimed festival hit Little Feet which starred his two children Lana and Nico. The film went on to get great acclaim worldwide including at Toronto and Rome Film Festivals and opened to rave reviews in New York City and Los Angeles later that year.
In 2020, his feature film Sweet Thing had its world premiere in the Generation section of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival.
