Back in 2022!
The FCVQ is back! The journey has been arduous since the last edition of the festival in September 2020, but with the spring comes hope for a reawakening in the world of cinema (and in Quebec City).
We are pleased to announce, with a good measure of enthusiasm, the Fall 2022 edition, which will be held between September 8 to 11. The event, in true festival fashion, will celebrate locally-made films in the vibrant and colorful backdrop of the capital.
For the occasion, the team welcomes Paul Landriau as Director of Programming. Paul is a seasoned film buff who knows the festival scene like the back of his hand. He founded the cult blog Point de vues in 2012 before co-founding, in 2016, Plein(s) Écran(s), the world’s first Facebook film festival, in which he chose the programming for the first five editions.
In his 15-year career in the industry, Paul has worn many hats: critic, president of the Association québécoise des critiques de cinéma, program director of the Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma, host, panelist... He currently sits on the board of directors of the broadcasting organization Antitube. Recently, he put on the most important hat of his life: that of dad.
More details about the next edition of the festival will be revealed soon. Follow our social networks to find out about all the surprises we’re preparing for you!
