Agriculture has changed a lot since the twentieth century. Thanks to modernity, farmers have been able to leave behind their difficult predicament, but industrialization has sometimes, often even, forgotten ecology and know-how. This film shows the differences and possibilities by portraying agriculture in the twenty-first century. With its promises and its aberrations, the film examines young farmers in several human-sized projects. We find a farm that has no financial limits, is full of ideas and can afford to test the system. It becomes clear that more than ever Quebec needs an agricultural policy that will take the sectors’ realities into account. Various interviews with several specialists from different fields inform this documentary, including agriculture, health, economy, nutrition and politics.
